令畫面穩(wěn)定而鮮明的平移式IS影像穩(wěn)定器

配備與單反相機(jī)用EF鏡頭相同的平移式IS影像穩(wěn)定器。采用振動陀螺儀檢測手抖動的方向和抖動量，通過向消除抖動的方向移動補(bǔ)償鏡片，穩(wěn)定影像。通過提升振動陀螺儀的性能以及采用微處理器等，實(shí)現(xiàn)了比8x25 IS更強(qiáng)有效的手抖動補(bǔ)償。具有能夠補(bǔ)償身體晃動等較大幅度抖動的特性（10x32 IS / 12x32 IS / 14x32 IS的強(qiáng)力IS相當(dāng)），并針對觀察移動目標(biāo)或搖擺尋找目標(biāo)時觀察效果進(jìn)行了優(yōu)化。電池可支持IS防抖工作約12小時（+23℃，基于佳能測試標(biāo)準(zhǔn)）。

畫面四周都能清晰成像的平場鏡

配備從畫面中心到四周都能鮮明成像的平場鏡。對焦于平面時，可補(bǔ)償導(dǎo)致周邊部模糊的像面彎曲，以清晰的畫面進(jìn)行觀察。鏡片性能不好的話，越靠近邊緣，畫質(zhì)越低，畫面越模糊，還會變形。得益于平場鏡的效果，畫面邊緣部都可清晰呈現(xiàn)。

實(shí)現(xiàn)高透光率和高對比度的超級光譜鍍膜

超級光譜鍍膜是通過在鏡片表面實(shí)施特殊的多層鍍膜，可提高透光率，抑制鏡筒內(nèi)漫反射和偏色。所有鏡片和棱鏡都采用了超級光譜鍍膜，實(shí)現(xiàn)了高透光率和高對比度。鏡片性能不好的話，鏡筒內(nèi)部會產(chǎn)生光線的漫反射，破壞色彩平衡或降低對比度。超級光譜鍍膜能夠抑制偏色，得到高對比度影像。

高倍率的同時，實(shí)現(xiàn)了約2米的較近對焦距離。在博物館、美術(shù)館等狹小空間中使用時，觀察小動物、野鳥、花和昆蟲時等，使用對焦距離短的IS雙眼望遠(yuǎn)鏡，可以放大觀察近距離的目標(biāo)。
